When you are in Vegas, there are so many crazy things you can do. From getting a hitch on the spur of the moment to gambling all of your life saving in the casino to partying your ass off in the night clubs. But sometimes, the best part of travelling is to find your own adventures. You will be surprise what kind of adventures await you in the sin city.
Here are the recaps of my favorite adventures in Las Vegas:
- Satisfy your thirst for the thrilling moment on the top of Stratosphere tower
You can do a sky jump, ride the big shot, ride insanity and x-scream or if you are not in the mood for “my heart just skipped a beat” moment, you can always enjoy the observation deck.
- Drive to Henderson and visit the cactus garden and chocolate factory
You are in the desert, where else will you see beautiful cactus. So while you have this opportunity, grab it and I’m sure a free chocolate sampler from the chocolate factory located next to the cactus garden will make your trip even sweeter.
- Slide inside the shark tank
Who are not tempting to try this water slide inside the shark tank at the Golden Nugget?
This fun and unique experience worth every penny. One catch, you have to be a hotel guest to access the pool. You can do a water slide from the third story and slide on see thru waterslide inside the shark tank. What a view!
- Explore the Hoover Dam
The engineering wonder! I think this statement has said it all. It is a short drive from Vegas for about 45 minutes. Definitely a must see when you are visiting Las Vegas.
- Rent a wraparound terrace suite and party like a rock star
You are in Vegas after all, your play times in Vegas would be incomplete without a party. Instead of going to a club, partying in your own private suite with friends or family with a view of Las Vegas Skyline is definitely something worth to try.
- Visit Lake Las Vegas
Lake Las Vegas is a man made lake located in Henderson, a short drive from Las Vegas. The view is beautiful surrounded by some luxury resorts like Hilton and Westin and the place offers recreational activities.
- Hike in Red Rock Canyon
It is a short drive from Las Vegas strip for about 30 minutes. Red Rock canyon offer extensive hiking trails to choose from. Perfect place for hiking enthusiasts.
- Vegas’ style Zip line
You probably has zip lined among trees and canopy of rain forest, but in Vegas you will do it Vegas’ style. Zip line in the city between two platforms and soar in the air above the pedestrian. Woohoo!!
- Take a free Tram
Why pay when you can ride it for free, right? So take one of these free trams for the experience. These free tram runs from Mirage to Treasure Island, from Monte Carlo to Bellagio and from Mandalay Bay to Excalibur.
- Gondola rides
Take a romantic gondola rides in Venetian along man made canal. Oh well, maybe not so romantic since this place is always packed with tourists but definitely it’s a fun activity.
- Ride the world’s tallest observation wheel (High Roller)
At 550-foot tall (167.6 m) High Roller becomes the world’s tallest observation wheel since it opened to the public on March 31, 2014. It is taller than its predecessor Singapore Flyer at 541-foot (165 m). Imagine being inside of the world’s tallest observation wheel overlooking the city that never sleeps, the view you will never forget.
- Catch free shows along the strip
Vegas offers so many paid shows, but you can also catch a free one along the strip. Stroll along the strip and stop at Treasure Island for the Pirate Show, stop at Bellagio for the water fountain show or stop at the Mirage for the sighting of man made volcano eruption.
Hope you have a blast in Las Vegas!
