One of many Canada’s best winter destination is Ottawa Winterlude. Winterlude is annual winter festival in Ottawa, Ontario. If you like winter activities such as ice skating, ice sculpting, and snow tubing, then you don’t want to miss this festival. Road Trip to Montreal from East Coast

Road Trip to Montreal is a perfect long weekend getaway if you live in east coast.  Montreal is located next to Up State New York. Finally, on the three days weekend, we decided to do a road trip to Montreal.  It only took us about eight hours to drive to this French speaking city from New Jersey. Driving through the Catskill mountain of Up State New York all the way to Canadian border was an adventure itself. This scenic drive is one of the benefit of doing a road trip to Montreal. Winter exploration: Quebec Winter Carnival

Have you ever dreamed of staying in the ice hotel? Treetop Adventure in Canada

The first time I heard about treetop adventure was at the dining table with a group of friends who were trying to set up a trip to Pocono Mountain in Pennsylvania. There are several places in Pocono that offer treetop adventure. Somehow the plan didn’t go thru. So on the trip to Michigan, I decided to cross the border to Canada to try the treetop adventure at Boler Mountain. Boler Mountain is located in London, Ontario, Canada. Despite its name, Boler Mountain looks more like a hill than a mountain. Continue reading →
