The most dangerous hiking path in Span; Caminito Del Rey had claimed a few lives in the past. This hiking path was deemed to be dangerous that the government decided to close the place for public. Finally the place was re-opened after undergoing extensive renovation and reconstruction of the bridge, the boardwalk, and safety cable. While the most dangerous hiking path in Spain: Caminito Del Rey is no longer as dangerous as it was before reconstruction, it is also not a walk in the park.  Due to quality of terrain, it requires a certain level of physical effort and skillfulness. As the highest point of the path stand at 105 meters or around 345 feet, you can’t be afraid of height if you want to hike here. Winter Exploration: The Eben Ice Cave

The Eben Ice cave is one of those natural wonders that leave you speechless when you see it. This Ice cave offers more than just an amazing view. The hiking trail that leads to the cave also offers a nice view. I think it’s worth the hike whenever you are in Upper Peninsula. Definitely it is worth a drive whenever you are in Michigan in the winter time.  As for me, it was worth the flight to Michigan to explore the Eben Ice Cave this winter season. Now that I intrigue you with this must do thing in winter time, you might want to know on how to get to there? Where to stay? And what to prepare for the smooth hike? Sand Boarding at Silver Lake Dunes

Sometimes it amazes me how diverse and beautiful American landscape is. I had been thinking to fly to Dubai for sand boarding in the desert, but somehow something always got in the way. While researching about sand boarding, I accidentally found out that my nine hours away by car neighboring state-Michigan, offers exactly what I was looking for. The dunes in Silver Lake is a perfect place for sand boarding. The Silver Lake is located about 3 hours from Detroit, Michigan. The nearest town to Silver Lake is Mears. Continue reading →

Sea Cave Kayaking in La Jolla cove, San Diego

The seven sea caves sit in between the beach of La Jolla shore and the sandy beach of La Jolla cove, San Diego.  Six out of seven of caves are only accessible by kayak. Only one cave is accessible by land via hand dug tunnel. Those caves are only visible from the ocean, so it goes without saying if you want to see them up close, you have to kayak to the caves. Hiking in Grand Canyon

When you visit Las Vegas, a trip to Grand Canyon is just an excursion of your Vegas’s trip. You can even take a tour from Las Vegas to the West Rim of Grand Canyon. I wanted to hike and see more of Grand Canyon National Park, so four of us decided to rent the car and drove from Las Vegas to the South Rim of Grand Canyon. It was about four hour drive. Treetop Adventure in Canada

The first time I heard about treetop adventure was at the dining table with a group of friends who were trying to set up a trip to Pocono Mountain in Pennsylvania. There are several places in Pocono that offer treetop adventure. Somehow the plan didn’t go thru. So on the trip to Michigan, I decided to cross the border to Canada to try the treetop adventure at Boler Mountain. Boler Mountain is located in London, Ontario, Canada. Zip Lining in Costa Rica

Dying of wanting to experience the thrill of zip lining over the rain forest, made me flew over 2000 miles to San Jose, Costa Rica. It was my first time in Costa Rica, so I took a guided zip line course.
